Time Until First Service

What to Expect on Christmas Eve

Main Service

We are offering three Christmas Eve services at 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00pm. During the service, our worship team will creatively tell the Christmas story about the birth of Christ. You’ll hear a brief message from Bevan, our senior pastor. This is a unique service every year and not one you want to miss!

The Seabreeze Kids Ministry will be celebrating Christmas by having a birthday party for Jesus! Childcare and kids’ classes are offered at every service for kids from birth to 5th grade. Your kids will have a ton of fun learning the meaning of Christmas through having a festive birthday party. See the invitation here.

Other Festivities

As you walk on the Seabreeze campus, you will smell Christmas in the air. There will be hot cocoa and an assortment of sweet Christmas treats for you to enjoy.  There will also be a place for you to take a festive picture with your family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

When are Christmas Eve services?

For Christmas Eve 2019, service times are 2:00pm, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm.

When should I arrive?

Christmas Eve service times are 2:00pm, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm. Show up 10 minutes early to grab some sweet treats and hot cocoa before heading into the service.

If you have kids, show up 15 minutes early to leave yourself plenty of time to check your kids into the kids ministry and then make your way into the auditorium.

We start each service exactly on time, so be sure to get in 5 minutes before the service starts to find a seat.

What happens at a Christmas Eve service?

Christmas is a time to remember the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The Christmas Eve service creatively tells the story. We will play mostly Christmas songs. Stylistically, the Seabreeze worship band plays contemporary worship songs, so the Christmas songs will be more recent versions of the classic songs we all know and love. During the service, Bevan, our senior pastor, will also give a short practical message about what Christmas is all about.

What is there for my kids to do (birth - 5th grade)?

We will have fun activities for kids from birth through 5th grade. Younger kids will be looked after by caring and friendly volunteers. The older kids will celebrate the birth of Jesus by having a birthday party. See the invitation here! Drop your kids off before the service at the Kids Check-In Kiosk and then pick them up after the service. Find out more about the Seabreeze Kids Ministry HERE.

Can my child join me in the Christmas Eve service?

Kids are encouraged to be a part of the Seabreeze Kids Ministry activities. We intentionally design those activities for your children. If however, you would like your kids to join you in the main service, they are welcome to. We have a family section in the back of the auditorium so that families can easily step outside if their child is getting fussy or needs to move around. We also have a family room on the southeast side of the auditorium building where you can watch a live stream of the service and your kids can play.

What is there for my student to do (6th-12th grade)?

We encourage all students to join their parents in the main service for Christmas Eve. The service is designed to creatively tell the Christmas story and to be engaging for adults and students alike.

What is Seabreeze Church like?

Seabreeze Church has been around since 1988. We strive to be a place where people can openly explore what the Christian life is about. We work hard to create a pressure-free environment so that people can investigate and evaluate for themselves who God is and what that means for their lives.
