Office Renovation - Fire Sprinklers and Cabinets

by Lance Unrau on April 25, 2024

Walking through the construction zone this past Sunday with many of you was great. I met some people for the first time and had great conversations with everyone who went to check it out.

Good news! We are officially done with drywall, mud, and tape. The fire-wall corrections ended up costing $29,116. It was a lot of work, but it is done! Cabinetry began installation, and fire sprinklers were installed and approved.

Now that the fire-rated wall is complete, all other work can proceed. We currently have painters and electricians on site, and we anticipate completing the paint, cabinet, fire alarm, and internet port installations by the end of next week. The electricians and HVAC workers are also expected to make significant progress in the coming weeks.

We have one more big inspection before all finals: the T-bar inspection. We are aiming for May 9th for that inspection. Then, mechanical, electrical, and fire finals can happen the following week. Those timelines seem doable, but could you pray that the work can get done so we hit those goals?
