In October, we successfully raised the funds required to renovate space for church offices. If you missed it, you can find all the info about that campaign HERE. Our goal was to raise $750,000, and we were excited to announce that we received $838,00 in commitments!
Over the past few months, we have made significant progress with the renovation project. Our HVAC sub has been working hard for the last month to hang the air handlers and ducts before other trades come onto the job site. As of this week, the rough HVAC is nearly complete and ready for inspection.
The fire sprinkler sub has finished rough-in this week, and framing has officially begun. The goal is to complete framing by the end of the year and start electrical work the first week in January.
Overall, the project has been running smoothly. We have worked with most of the subs before, which is likely why things are going so well.
We are on track to move into the church offices before the summer of 2024. You can pray that this happens and that the project continues to progress nicely. Please pray for favor with the city inspectors for the subs working on the project. Pray for their safety and the quality of their work.
